How good is the market right now? |

| I keep reading and seeing the National media harping about the Mortgage crisis and the downgrading of home values around the country. Is that a fact for Iowa and particularly for Story and Boone County towns? I feel like we are more isolated from these problems and have weathered the storm pretty well. The market is like the weather, peculiar to each area. Aa we emerge from our harsh Iowa Winter, we feel hopeful and assured that the pent-up demand for homes, stimulated by the Federal Tax Credits of $8,000. for First Time Buyers, and $6,500. for repeat Buyer will heat up the market as well... | |
